               The finding of oil happened accidentally at a district named Salina of Oklahoma state. Actually company was searching in Oklahoma for salt. After that discovery; Oklahoma never looked back because its future was kept on shining with its growing gas and oil generation. In a blink of eye Oklahoma let it self into the largest oil generator in the world. Growing production of oil and gas was in a game of braking and making new records, its oil production touched the pick at 1927.

            But the production declined and day by day things were getting worst.  in the latter quarter of the 20th century, the average decline of 3.1% per year although a temporary oil drilling in Oklahoma increased a bit at 1980-984 but the poor growth rate of oil generation made it unable to create any different, many well-known oil company’s lost their thrown but the worst part of story was oil based economy of Oklahoma was shattered, declining revenue from oil and natural gas production is slowing the state's economic growth .the only  sing of hope was increasing price of  oil that made many drilling company a opportunity to survive in this hard time .

     For drilling, Oklahoma is the most precious place. She is well known for her historical oil and gas reserve This state has shown a hard time in oil production but things have changed and Oklahoma is moving on and now it is 5th greatest producer of crude oil, and has the 2nd-largest number of active drilling rigs. On December  2008  the crude oil production was less then  4,770 thousand barrels  but year next it grew and stood at 5310 , but do you know the  best part , $11.3 billion in tax revenue was collected by the state, over last 12 months of 2009 , $12.6 million higher than the previous record most of it was contribution of drilling industry.  At the January of 2010 the production of crude oil was 4,971 thousand barrels and at the February of 2011 the production reached the number over 6848 thousand which is impressive but the following year was much more impressive because the production reached a new land mark of 7153. According to the last received information at April of 2013 manufacture of crude oil was 9615 thousand barrels. This increased number tells us the silent story of success.

    Since the price of oil barrels are $100 a barrel, mission to dig out new shales is under process, usually in places where oil had been previously found. Although reports of many explorations with positive results arrive every month, they shouldn't be blindly considered to be true.
